What are NFTs?

‍
Simply put, they are any digital collectibles for which ownership can be verified transparently on the blockchain forever, while still maintaining relative anonymity for the owners. They are stored in a digital wallet. When resold, often at a profit, a royalty fee can automatically be sent to the person who created it.

In addition to owning the digital art or collectible, you can use NFTs for various utilities, such as access to event tickets, community, physical collectibles, and priority access to the sale of even more valuable digital collectibles. All owners of the Viola Voltairine Collection will be on the exclusive presale list for any future NFT projects.

These and a number of future NFT projects celebrate specific dominant women will be available exclusively through gynarchy.io. All collectors are given limited reproduction rights to make prints of the work in any physical (non-digital) format, with credit to the artists.

Viola Voltarine

Viola Strepsata Voltairine opened her professional writing career with her tour de force, 150 Years of Gynarchy, exploring the intersection between FemDom and feminism. An accomplished filmmaker, she has participated in many illicit occupations to support her artistic habits, from being the program director of the Z Film Festival and festival director of the 72 Hour Feature Project in Chicago to running a commercial BDSM studio/art space and later becoming a kink educator for in-person and on-line workshops.

Voltairine founded the production company Artvamp in 2000, and has since produced several award-winning feature films. These include the experimental narrative film Profane, which won Best Feature at the Boston Underground Film Festival and Best Film of the Year in the Underground Film Journal, as well as the Creative Capital award-winning documentary Nice Bombs, shot in Baghdad a few months after the beginning of U.S. occupation. Her work has appeared on the Sundance Channel, and many of the films she has worked on have been distributed internationally and shown in festivals and on television worldwide. For her short films, she has received grants from the Princess Grace Foundation and the Film Society of Lincoln Center. She was also given a full merit scholarship to the School of the Art Institute Chicago where she received her Master's in Film and Video.

After earning her MFA she dove into the study of Indian philosophy and Sanskrit via Oxford’s Hindu Studies program and Maharishi International University. She recently launched a private international organization called The Company, where Women have their desires served by a well-screened and carefully selected group of men. She is currently working on a new film called Finding Love, based on the popular FemDom romance by Renee Lane with a screenplay by Guinevere Turner of American Psycho fame. She teaches courses on female-led relationships for men, and mentors a small group of students in her Succubus Tech hypnosis and mind control program. Viola is also a mom and a grandmother who spends her spare time reading, gardening, meditating, and creating podcasts. She lives in Colorado with her two beloved submissives, Drum and Robbi.

Our Community

We are taking an unusual approach with our Discord server. Most projects open their server to the public in order to create interest in their NFT projects. Our Cathexis House server has already existed for a couple of years and has a small established community within it already. We will only open it to those who contribute to the community in some way - NFT holders, subs in training, collaborators, and close friends. We want to keep it intimate and want community members to feel safe and comfortable to discuss anything and everything. The Cathexis House server will never be open to the public, and we will use social media such as Twitter for more public discourse.

Cathexis House server hosts regular audio chats and watch parties and is a place for hanging out and for elaborate philosophical discussions on the nature of life the universe and everything from a gynarchist's perspective. Starting with our first collection it will also be a place to discuss our roadmap and to offer access to additional air drops.

The Roadmap

Our current roadmap includes many exciting projects.

‍Phase 1: The Art- The Viola Voltairine Collection is a small collection of NFTs featuring four women artists from the U.S., Venezuela, and Ukraine, creating portraits of Ms. Viola Voltairine (based on two photos). Proceeds support Cathexis House. Collectors get access to our online Cathexis House Discord server, and priority access (pre-sale list) to any future collections. Finding Love is a feature film in progress based on Renee Lane's FemDom romance Finding Love through Female Domination, with screenplay by Guinevere Turner (screenwriter of American Psycho, The Infamous Bettie Page, Charlie Says, and more)

‍Phase 2: The Books - We begin with 150 Years of Gynarchy (now available), which is an overview of how to use D/s and FemDom to improve your life and make the world a better place. On October 21, 2023, we will see the release of Ms. V’s new book The Pillars of Gynarchy, which gives a thorough explanation of the philosophy of Gynarchy and how it is implemented, and detailed instructions on how to make networked Gynarchic communities work. Excerpts from the books are sometimes included in the Obedient Love podcast.

‍Phase 3: The Courses - Ms. Viola Voltairine has created two distinct courses of study. The first is the Obedient Love FLR course for men. This teaches men to become the best, most authentic submissives they can be, training them in practical skills, as well as the best way to find and approach Dominant Women. The second course currently offered is Succubus Tech, a mind control and hypnosis program. Intense psychological edgeplay allows the submissive to split himself into various personality states, be it the ideal submissive self who surfaces to take over his actions as needed, or an ideal Dominant who will rule his mind 24/7. Dominants can also use the program to install their voice inside their submissive’s head permanently, in order to guide and instruct them.

‍Phase 4: The Company - The Company is an active private international society of Dominant Women and thoroughly pre-vetted submissive men who obey them. The organization is run by a select group of Oracles - a handful of women who decide on the direction and activity of the Company. Male members are referred to as Company properties. A collection of keys allow collectors to find real hidden treasures locked at specific latitudes and longitudes around the planet (from Australia to Netherlands to the U.S.), and gain access to The Company. This includes online access as well as future events at the Temple of the Dark Goddess. Access can also be gained by finding the five word passphrase and numeric passcode.

‍Phase 5: The Temple and Retreat - The long term goal is to create both a physical and on-line Temple of the Dark Goddess attached to an in person voluntary community and a private retreat which practices Gynarchy (as described by Ms. Voltairine’s books) 24/7 and 365 days per year. It is to be a spiritual center, getaway, and home to several Oracles and their attendant submissive properties. The Pillars of Gynarchy will be the foundational philosophy to set an example for future offshoots and networked communities like it. Nodes in a global web-like Gynarchic system that operates parallel to and overlaid atop mainstream society. The in-person and online Temple will host regular rituals honoring Living Goddesses.

Project Goals

Our first collection serves several goals:

1.) We want to make sure our team has a first run with a relatively straightforward NFT launch, so we’ll have the experience to deliver on future projects. This is our inaugural NFT endeavor! We hope to gather friends and collaborators along the way!

2.) This project supports Cathexis House, our 24/7 D/s household and meeting place, as well as online community. This project is critical for us to continue our work uninterrupted.

3.) The artists we’ve chosen to do these portraits aren’t accustomed to getting royalties on their work. Typically they make a one time fee for commissions. So beyond the commission fees we have already paid them (rates set by each of the artists for commercial use of their work), we will be giving back 10% of sales to them while helping to onboard them into the NFT space! Support women artists!
